Privacy Policy

How AriaTravel collects, uses and protects information submitted through our China travel website.

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Who we are

AriaTravel designs private, tailor-made journeys in China for international travelers. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website, submit a travel inquiry, chat with us, or contact us by email, WhatsApp or WeChat.

For privacy questions, contact us at inquiry@ariatravel.com.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide, technical information used to operate the website and respond to inquiries, and the measurement and attribution information described below.

  • Contact details such as name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number.
  • Newsletter subscription information, such as your email address, language preference and opt-in record if you subscribe to travel emails.
  • Travel planning details such as destination interests, dates, group size, hotel level, passport country or region, preferences, messages and children’s age ranges where relevant.
  • Website and attribution data such as page URL, language, IP address, approximate location, browser and device information, HubSpot tracking cookie identifiers when available, and UTM parameters stored in first-party localStorage for up to 90 days.
  • Under the website’s current configuration, Google Analytics 4 collects page views, sessions, engagement and inquiry-related events whether you accept, reject or later change the preference shown in Usercentrics. Where available, Google Signals may add aggregated demographics, interests and cross-device insights for eligible users who are signed in to Google and have enabled Ads Personalization. We configure analytics events not to send your name, email address, phone number or travel inquiry message to Google Analytics.
  • Chat or communication content if you contact us through respond.io, email, WhatsApp or WeChat.

How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and design a tailored China itinerary.
  • To send occasional travel inspiration emails if you separately opt in to the newsletter, and to manage unsubscribe or subscription preferences.
  • To follow up on your request, arrange quotes, and support a booking if you choose to proceed.
  • To keep accurate records in HubSpot CRM and understand which pages or campaigns produced an inquiry.
  • To protect forms from spam and abuse using Cloudflare Turnstile.
  • To measure visits, page views, engagement and inquiry-related events using Google Analytics 4 deployed through Google Tag Manager. Under the current website configuration, this measurement does not wait for or change with the preference shown in Usercentrics. Google Signals may enrich eligible reports with aggregated demographics, interests and cross-device insights.
  • To improve the website, content and service experience. Measurement records used to prepare this policy, dated August 27, 2026, record the Google Analytics property as linked to Google Ads and a GA4 lead event as imported for advertising measurement. The website does not deploy a native Google Ads tag, Meta Pixel, remarketing tag, advertising personalization or Enhanced Conversions.

Sharing and service providers

We do not disclose personal information to another party in exchange for money. We share information for website operations, measurement and attribution, responding to your request, and arranging travel services as described in this policy.

  • HubSpot, for CRM, form submission, tracking and attribution.
  • respond.io, for website chat and messaging workflows.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile, for bot detection and form security.
  • Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, for website measurement and analytics delivery under the current configuration described below.
  • Usercentrics, for presenting privacy choices and recording the preference you select. Under the website’s current configuration, that preference does not control the measurement and tracking tools already connected to the site.
  • Hosting, infrastructure and operational vendors that help us run the website.
  • Travel suppliers or local partners when required to prepare or operate a trip you request.

International processing

AriaTravel and its providers may process information in China, Hong Kong, Australia, the United States, the European Economic Area or other locations where our team, systems or service providers operate.

If you are outside those locations, your information may be transferred internationally so that we can answer your inquiry and provide travel services.

Retention

We keep inquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or confirmed trip, maintain business records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and improve our service.

Measurement records used to prepare this policy, dated August 27, 2026, record a 14-month retention period for Google Analytics event and user data. Aggregated reports may be retained separately under Google Analytics settings and terms.

You may ask us to delete or update your information, subject to records we need to keep for legitimate business, legal or safety reasons.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can also ask us not to contact you for marketing.

  • Email inquiry@ariatravel.com to make a request.
  • Use unsubscribe links or contact us to stop receiving newsletter emails.
  • Use Cookie settings in the website footer to record or change your preference. Under the current website configuration, rejecting or withdrawing there does not stop Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot tracking or first-party campaign attribution. You can also use browser controls to block or delete cookies and contact us about applicable privacy rights.
  • Measurement records used to prepare this policy, dated August 27, 2026, record Google Analytics as linked to Google Ads, Google Ads auto-tagging as enabled, and the GA4 generate_lead event as imported as a Primary conversion. A limited Google Search advertising test campaign was published on August 3, 2026. The website does not deploy a native Google Ads tag, Meta Pixel, remarketing tag, advertising personalization or Enhanced Conversions; we will update this policy before adding those tools or uses.

Children

Our website is intended for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

For family travel planning, please provide only age ranges or general needs for children, not names, passport numbers, school details or identity documents through the inquiry form.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, tools or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
